Kathie Jarra is the founder and primary songwriter for the former, well-known, East Coast, Metal Band, Jarra. Formed in New Jersey several years ago, Kathie relocated the band to Phoenix, Arizona in 2000 and secured a worldwide distribution deal with Lion Music in Finland for the release of her self-produced, CD, “Test of Faith”. With the strength of “Test of Faith” on her side, she decided to pursue a solo career in 2002 and went on to form her own metal record label based in Arizona, USA, The Karma Records Group.

The label has secured worldwide distribution through the hugely successful metal distributor, Nightmare Records & Distribution.    Jarra will be releasing her first solo CD, “Bleed” with a new band, STYGMATA and the CD is scheduled for a worldwide release in May 2007.   A 2007 - 2008 tour will be announced soon along with the announcement of the touring line up.
